About
Who I am
I'm Husniddin Mehmonov, a software engineer based in Uzbekistan. I like building things — from small tools to full platforms. I'm self-taught and have been programming for several years now.
What I do
I primarily work with Python and Go. Python for rapid development, scripting, and backend services. Go for performance-critical systems and CLI tools. I also have a strong interest in low-level programming — languages like Zig and Rust, operating systems, and how software interacts with hardware.
Projects
shitob.cloud is my main project. It's a small Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that lets developers deploy static sites, web apps, and bots. Built with NixOS, systemd sandboxing, nginx, and a custom CI/CD pipeline. It currently hosts 150+ websites from 50+ users.
Wordcard.uz is a vocabulary learning app I originally built for myself. It uses spaced repetition to help users memorize words. It's grown to over 100 monthly active users.
Interests
Outside of coding, I enjoy reading — mostly non-fiction, tech blogs, and occasionally philosophy. I'm curious about how systems work at every level, from CPU architectures to distributed systems. I also enjoy teaching and sharing what I learn through writing and podcasts.
